FBR extended date up to March 31, 2020, for integration of FBR’s POS online system of tier-1 retailers’. FBR’s online system for real time provision of information of turnover of retailer’s sales.
FBR issued notices to all Chief Commissioners Inland Revenue, Large Taxpayers Units (LTUs), and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs). Regarding extension of deadline for the FBR’s Tier-1 retailers’ POSs online integration system.
Such instructions issued and implemented under Section 74 of the Sales Tax act, 1990. This extension in time limit given under the law as provided in sub-rule (2) of rule 150ZEA of Sales Tax Rules, 2006. Up to 31st March, 2020, for FBR’s Tier-1 retailers’ POSs online integration system for reporting of information of sales of retailer’s outlets.

FBR also notified condition for such implementation that all Tier-1 retailers’ allowed extension in terms of above stated rules if they give proper application to the respective RTOs/LTUs up to 15th March 2020.
